Privacy Policy
Revaltronics provides TapCub: Kids Mode, an Android app for parents and guardians to prepare supervised phone handoffs. This policy covers the TapCub application, package com.revaltronics.tapcub. Contact us at sunnybhadana44@gmail.com about privacy or support.
Information kept on your device
TapCub stores the profile name or nickname you enter, avatar choice, approved app selections, session duration, onboarding status, and analytics preference locally. You can use a nickname instead of a child's real name. TapCub reads launchable installed-app names, package identifiers, and icons so you can select approved apps. These selections and profile details are not uploaded to Revaltronics or Firebase. No TapCub account is required.
Permissions and protection
When you enable the Accessibility service, TapCub uses app-transition events and package identifiers to recognize restricted apps and return to Kids Mode. It does not read or collect screen text, messages, notification contents, passwords, or keystrokes. Accessibility information is used on the device for protection and is not sent as analytics. You may revoke this access in Android settings; protection will then be limited.
Parent exit uses Android's biometric or device-credential prompt. TapCub receives the authentication result, not your PIN, password, or biometric data. TapCub does not request camera, microphone, contacts, or precise-location access.
Optional parent analytics
Analytics is on by default in release builds and off by default in debug and profile builds, unless you have already saved a preference. You can turn “Share parent usage analytics” off or on in the parent Privacy screen at any time. When enabled, we use Google Analytics for Firebase to understand basic parent setup actions, such as setup completion, saving a profile or app selection, opening protection settings, requesting a handoff, and returning to parent mode. Events record that an action occurred; they do not contain entered names, avatars, approved-app lists, app package identifiers, or screen contents.
While enabled, Firebase may also process automatically collected app and device information, an app-instance identifier, operating-system and app versions, usage events, and approximate geographic information derived from network information. Network requests expose an IP address to the receiving service. We disable advertising-ID collection and advertising personalization signals, and do not set a user ID or link analytics to your child's profile.
Analytics collection pauses while Kids Mode is active and when TapCub is in the background. Previously queued parent analytics may still be delivered by the SDK. We do not intentionally measure the child's app activity. Turning analytics off stops future collection and resets the local analytics identifier; it does not automatically delete data already received by Google.
Children and other apps
TapCub is configured by a parent or guardian and includes a child-facing mode. Children do not need to register, provide contact information, or enable analytics. Parents control local profile details. Approved third-party apps have their own privacy practices, network activity, and advertising; TapCub does not control or block their data collection.
Advertising and purchases
TapCub uses Google AdMob to display a labelled native advertisement on parent home when permitted by your privacy choices and the app state. Parents may optionally watch a rewarded ad to pause TapCub parent-screen ads for 24 hours. The reward expiry is stored locally and does not change the child's session duration. No TapCub ads are displayed during Kids Mode or parent authentication. An ad-free period does not remove ads inside approved third-party apps.
Ad requests are non-personalized, configured for child age treatment and general-audience content. Advertising-ID permission is removed, and publisher first-party ad identification is disabled. These settings do not mean the ad service processes no information: Google may process IP addresses and approximate location, device/app information, ad views and taps, diagnostics, and identifiers permitted by its SDK configuration for ad delivery, measurement and fraud prevention. We do not send profile names, approved app selections, or child activity to AdMob.
Where required, Google's User Messaging Platform provides privacy choices before an ad request is allowed. Use “Ad privacy choices” on parent home or Privacy to review available options. Advertising choices are separate from optional Firebase analytics. TapCub stops new ad loads when leaving parent home or entering Kids Mode, although the SDK may complete earlier network requests. See Google's advertising information and Mobile Ads SDK data disclosures.
Purchase checkout is not yet available. Store-catalog foundations have been prepared for future Pro plans. We do not currently collect payment-card details or purchase receipts. We will update this policy before launching purchase processing.
Sharing and service providers
We do not sell personal information. When analytics is enabled, Google processes analytics information under its applicable terms and privacy practices. See Google's Privacy Policy and Firebase privacy information. These services may process information on servers outside your country. We may disclose information we hold when required by law or necessary to protect legal rights and security.
Retention, deletion, and your choices
Local setup remains until you change it, clear TapCub's app storage, or uninstall the app. Android app backup is disabled for TapCub. Google retains analytics according to the Analytics property's retention settings and applicable service policies; aggregate reports may remain after event-level records expire. Contact us for information about retention or a deletion request. Because we do not associate analytics identifiers with names or email addresses, we may be unable to identify your particular analytics records from your email alone.
If you email us, we receive your email address and message and use them to respond. We retain support correspondence only as needed to handle the request and applicable legal obligations. Do not send a child's personal information, device PIN, or purchase credentials in support messages.
Depending on your location, you may have rights to access, correct, delete, or restrict use of personal information, withdraw consent, or complain to your local data-protection authority. Send requests to sunnybhadana44@gmail.com. Withdrawing analytics consent does not prevent use of core protection features.
Security and changes
TapCub uses app-private local storage and the platform authentication prompt. No storage or transmission method is completely secure. Kids Mode is a supervised handoff aid, not a guarantee against every device escape path. We may update this policy when the app changes and will revise the effective date and provide additional notice where required.
