Data Stored Locally on Your Device

SubVault stores all your data locally on your device. We collect and store:

• Subscription Information: Names, costs, billing cycles, payment dates, categories, and notes about your subscriptions
• Payment Methods: Payment method types you select (Credit Card, Debit Card, PayPal, Bank Transfer, UPI)
• Custom Categories: Custom category names and icons you create
• Settings: Your app preferences including theme, currency, language, and notification settings
• SMS Data: If you grant permission, we scan SMS messages locally on your device to detect subscription-related transactions

Data We DO NOT Collect

• We do NOT collect any personal information
• We do NOT transmit your data to external servers
• We do NOT share your data with third parties
• We do NOT track your usage or behavior
• We do NOT use analytics or tracking services

Permissions

Required Permissions

• Local Storage: To save your subscription data on your device
• Notifications: To send you payment reminders at scheduled times

Optional Permissions

• SMS Read Permission: Only used if you enable the SMS scanning feature. This permission allows the app to scan your SMS messages locally to detect subscription payments. SMS data is processed entirely on your device and is never transmitted elsewhere.

Data Storage and Security

• All data is stored locally using Isar database on your device
• Your data remains on your device and is never uploaded to any server
• When you uninstall the app, all data is permanently deleted from your device
• We do not have access to your data at any time

Third-Party Services

SubVault uses the following third-party services:

• Currency Exchange Rates API: We fetch current exchange rates from exchangerate-api.com to convert currencies. No personal data is sent to this service.
• Service Logos: We display logos from subscription services using their public URLs. No personal data is transmitted.

Data Sharing

We do not share, sell, or transfer your data to any third party. Your subscription information remains private and accessible only to you on your device.

Children's Privacy

SubVault does not knowingly collect information from children under 13. The app is intended for users who manage their own subscriptions and financial information.

Your Rights

You have complete control over your data:

• Access: You can view all your data within the app
• Modification: You can edit or delete any subscription or category at any time
• Export: You can export your data through the app's export feature
• Deletion: You can delete all your data by uninstalling the app

Changes to This Privacy Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify you of any changes by posting the new Privacy Policy in the app and updating the "Last Updated" date.
